- Administrator and hosting accounts should use unique passwords and multi-factor authentication.
- Website software and hosting should be kept updated and backed up.
- Access to customer messages should be limited to people who need it.
- Personal information should be deleted when it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for, subject to legal record-keeping requirements.
